The Obagi CLENZIderm Starter Kit for Normal to Dry Skin and Obagi CLENZIderm Starter Kit for Normal to Oily Skin are combinations of several products those being the products which make up the rest of the CLENZIderm category of Obagi skin care products. Specifically, in terms of components to this skin care system, we are looking at the Daily Care Foaming Cleanser, Pore Therapy as well as the Obagi Therapeutic Lotion and Moisturizer.
The skin cleansers in this system of Obagi skin care products are sold under the names Obagi Daily Care Cream Cleanser and the Obagi Daily Care Foaming Cleanser respectively. The difference in the two products in terms of formulation is ones a cream based cleanser and the other a ‘foaming’ based cleanser. But they cost the same. Like all good cleansers, these are meant to rid the skin of impurities; from oil residues to ordinary dirt, old make up residues and so on. The cleansers from Obagi also have one more notable effect; the exfoliating effect which means that they are capable of ridding the skin of dead cells, thus opening it up, refreshing the user and making the user more radiant. Notable about the Obagi Daily Care Foaming Cleanser is the fact that it also contains Salicylic acid, which gives it efficiency in combating (and preventing) acne.
The Obagi Pore Therapy is designed specifically to help unclog skin pores. While the cleansers have the effect of opening up the pores as just one of their many effects, the Pore Therapy product is designed specifically for that purpose. But then again, besides opening the pores, it also combats acne, while exfoliating the skin; making it a ‘panacea’ of sorts for many of the skin problems people struggle with.
The therapeutic lotion and the therapeutic moisturizer are marketed under the names Obagi Therapeutic Moisturizer and Obagi Therapeutic Lotion BPO 5% respectively.
